As the first licensed electrical contractor in the state of Utah, CVE’s Legacy of work hard, make everything top quality, and get it done on time, still stands true today.
Henry F. Laub founded Cache Valley Electric in 1915. In fact, CVE holds the oldest electrical contracting license in the state of Utah. This small family business was based on a few simple principles: work hard, make everything top quality, and get it done on time. Since then, CVE has created a tradition of excellence by having premium equipment, advanced technical skills, effective processes, and most importantly, outstanding employees. Over a century later, that tradition has built an impressive résumé of successful projects throughout the nation and around the world. Electrical construction remains at the core of our company and we are proud of the work we do. Today, we specialize in commercial, heavy industrial, low voltage, design build Assist and IPD, and mission critical electrical construction.
Our electrical construction capabilities encompass a full range of work including mission-critical data centers, high tech manufacturing facilities, state of the art hospitals, luxury resorts, high rise commercial buildings, airports, and a variety of government facilities from sports arenas to fighter jet hangers. We are market leaders in heavy industrial construction specializing in the steel industry, steel mill construction, and facility maintenance. The service and specialty projects component of CVE is proud to maintain facilities after primary construction and perform custom work as needed.
