Project Overview
Cache Valley Electric’s Transmission Line & Substation team recently constructed a new 161 kV substation in a double-breaker double-bus configuration with two 161 kV line terminals in Booneville, Iowa for MidAmerican Energy.
Scope of Work
- Twelve 161 kV circuit breakers
- Three 161/13.8 kV transformer terminals
- Three 13.2 kV switchgear units
- Relocation of an existing 161 kV line
- Modifying and energizing two existing 161 kV lines
