Kaneohe Bay Clinic

CVE Hawaii provided electrical and low voltage work for the Kaneohe Bay Clinic at the Kaneohe Bay military base. This project was a joint venture between two general contractors—Caddell Construction of Montgomery, AL and Nan Inc. of Honolulu, HI. The two-story, 97,000 sq. ft. medical and dental clinic provides care for active duty Marines and their families, as well as retirees. Services include primary care, physical therapy, radiology, occupational health, optometry, outpatient behavioral health, and dental care.

Scope of Work:

• The electrical distribution system, including tying new primary feeders to the existing feeders
• New switchgear and pad mount transformer, along with a standby generator
• Lighting system and lighting controls, branch circuits, fire alarm system and mass notification system, behavioral duress system, public address system, and access control system
• Complete horizontal network cabling system
• Commscope fiber and copper backbone, nurse call cabling, paging system, and security
