Cache Valley Electric Welcomes Zach Nyborg as Director of Development

LOGAN, UTAH — Cache Valley Electric (CVE), a national leader in specialty electrical contracting, is pleased to announce the appointment of Zach Nyborg as its Director of Development.

In this company-wide leadership role, Nyborg will collaborate closely with CVE’s Division Leaders to shape and execute the company’s business development strategy. His responsibilities include supporting key pursuits, strengthening client relationships, and advancing strategic growth initiatives across the organization. He also leads CVE’s marketing efforts, ensuring alignment between CVE’s messaging, brand presence, and long-term vision.

Nyborg brings a broad and strategic leadership background in construction, athletics, fitness, and technology. At a general contracting firm, he led strategic initiatives across business development, marketing, and internal operations.  He has also directed marketing efforts in the fitness industry and led business development and brand awareness initiatives in the SaaS space.

Prior to his work in the private sector, Nyborg spent over a decade in NCAA Division I athletics administration, serving in leadership roles at Utah State, BYU, Oregon State, and Wisconsin. In these positions, he was responsible for leading the business and operational side of the football program, including oversight of recruiting, budgeting, personnel, and all auxiliary departments.
