Cache Valley Electric is looking for qualified Journeymen Electricians to work on multiple projects throughout Utah.

Journeyman Electrician Duties & Responsibilities
Work with blueprints, plans and/or specifications to install electrical systems
Use a variety of hand and power tools to productively and safely install wire, electrical cable and related components
Measure, cut, bend and thread wire and electrical cable through conduit (metal tubing)
Comply with all state, industry and local wiring codes
Splice wires at juncture points and feed/pull wiring into control centers and distribution boxes, transformers and transducers, switch gear, electrical outlets and other permanent equipment
Test systems to ensure safe functioning and conformity to project requirements
Prepare sketches/schematic diagrams showing location of installed wiring and related components
Adhere to corporate, job-specific and OSHA safety standards while performing work in a safe manner
Identify potential safety hazards and work with supervision and site safety personnel to remedy safety hazards
This is a safety-sensitive position
Additional Duties
- May install communications and computer equipment
- May install control centers and distribution boxes, transformers and transducers, switch gear, electrical outlets and other permanent equipment
- May assist with preparing/analyzing blueprints, office administration tasks, or design work as needed
- May perform prefabrication work in a seated work station
Work Setting
- Work may be performed inside or outdoors in any weather (i.e. cold, snow, rain, heat)
- Worksite may be noisy, cramped, dirty and/or poorly ventilated
- Hazards include risk of electrical shock and other worksite accidents
- A 40‐hr workweek is normal, though overtime is to be expected
- Work may be required at night, on weekends, on-call or for emergencies
