CVE is seeking a full-time Technology Support Specialist to support our systems and end users. In this role you will provide general technical support for end-user devices, systems, and applications, ensuring reliable day-to-day operations. Manage user accounts, system access, and equipment throughout onboarding and offboarding processes while assisting with device setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support for end-user devices including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals 
  • Maintain and update helpdesk tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution 
  • Setup, maintain, and support of end user accounts and email mailbox settings 
  • Participate in Onboarding and Offboarding of user accounts and IT equipment 
  • Configure, install, maintain, support, and repair peripheral devices, and printers 
  • Maintain, replace, and service Windows and Mac computers 
  • Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets. Track equipment assignments and returns 
  • Assist with administration and management of anti-virus and malware software systems 
  • Setup, maintain, and support file servers, shares, and external file access systems 
  • Installation and troubleshooting of CVE adopted software packages 
  • Setup and maintain IT Systems in job site locations across the United States.  Some limited travel may be required 
  • Configuration of network switch ports and basic network equipment for remote locations 
  • Configuration and maintenance of Cisco IP Phones 
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support 
  • Support Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and mobile device management 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) 

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-starter with good leadership skills, the ability to work well with others and excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to manage time constraints and priorities to achieve needed timelines and objectives. 
  • Willingness to learn from a team environment while contributing to the improvement process 
  • Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Batch) 
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Office 365, Current Desktop and Server OS, DNS, DHCP, and print services. 
  • Cisco Network / Cisco Meraki experience preferred 
  • A+/Net+ certification preferred 
  • Current Utah driver’s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle report 
  • Successful background check
