Consulting Engineer

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Consulting Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll provide critical pre-sales and post-sales technical support, designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate combines expertise in development, DevOps, and cloud technologies with a strong understanding of contact center solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-Sales Support:

• Partner with sales and engineering teams to understand client needs and craft tailored technical solutions

• Deliver engaging technical presentations, demonstrations, and workshops for prospective clients

• Create solution architectures, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOWs) aligned with client goals and best practices

• Serve as a subject matter expert, addressing technical questions and concerns during client discussions

Post-Sales Implementation & Support:

• Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of complex solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and client requirements

• Provide hands-on support for technology integration and troubleshoot issues to ensure solution stability and client satisfaction

• Develop and deliver technical training for clients and internal teams

• Contribute to improving our service offerings and technical methodologies

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Development & DevOps:

• General Development:

• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, YAML, Go, Bash) for automation and tool development

• Strong experience with API integration and microservices architecture

• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies

• DevOps & Automation:

• Extensive experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)

• Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with expertise in Terraform and familiarity with other HashiCorp tools (Vault, Consul, Nomad)

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster deployment and orchestration (e.g., EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift) and containerization (Docker)

• In-depth expertise with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP), including compute, networking, storage, and security services

• Proficient in automating provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting in cloud-native environments

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk)

• Strong proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows

Contact Center Technologies:

• Strong understanding of contact center operations, workflows, and KPIs

• Experience with call routing, IVR design, agent desktop solutions, and reporting

• Hands-on expertise with Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX):

• Deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting

• Familiarity with UCCX scripting, Finesse desktop customization, and integration with Cisco collaboration products (e.g., CUCM, CUBE)

• Knowledge of contact center reporting and analytics platforms

General Consulting Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team

• Capable of managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps or SRE experience

• Expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation)

• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud infrastructures

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Kubernetes Certified Administrator, Cisco CCNA Collaboration) are a plus
