Assistant Project Manager (Mission Critical)

We’re looking for a sharp, driven Assistant Project Manager to join our team. You’ll help keep mission-critical projects on track, making sure everything runs smoothly, stays on budget, and meets top-notch quality standards in a fast-moving environment.
What you’ll do:
- Tackle challenges with strong problem-solving skills to keep projects moving forward
- Handle project schedules, budgets, cost control, and subcontractor coordination
- Build and update detailed project timelines, working closely with the team to hit key milestones
- Spot risks early and create solutions to keep timelines and costs in check
- Communicate clearly—both in writing and in person—to keep everyone in the loop with project updates
- Work with vendors, contractors and suppliers to manage contracts and keep things running smoothly
- Effectively use project management software tools (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid/Change Order)
- Pitch in on other tasks as needed to help the project and the company succeed
What you’ll need:
- A bachelor’s degree in construction management or similar
- At least 3 years of experience in commercial construction projects; work on hyperscale or mission critical projects preferred
- Solid knowledge of construction processes, quality control and design coordination
- A knack for working well with all kinds of teams and stakeholders
- Software proficiency (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid)
- Willingness to work full-time, on-site in Amarillo, TX
