Cache Valley Electric was recently awarded two contracts for the Larry H. Miller Sports Park. Located in Tooele, Utah on a one mile square parcel of land, this will be the first high speed race track in Utah. CVE’s initial contract with Sahara, Inc. consists of providing a complete 15kv utility infrastructure along with the power and lighting for the project. Cache Valley Electric is also responsible for site lighting, a public address system, parking lot lighting, closed circuit television, security access control, low voltage lighting control system, fire alarm and lightning protection.
The second contract, awarded directly by the Larry H. Miller Group, is with Cache Valley Electric’s Teledata Division. This division is solely responsible for the fiber and copper infrastructure for the project. CVE will install 77 miles of fiber and 20,000 feet of copper throughout the complex. The track will be operational in June 2006.
